My name is Siobhan and welcome to my quiet little corner of the internet. Think of it as a virtual space where there is never a shortage of cosy blankets, candles or cake, and the kettle is always on. Prepare yourself for plenty of confessions and embarrassing stories as I make a piss-poor attempt at adulthood. This blog is an outlet for everything I’m learning as I go along, so bear with me – I’ll most likely overshare every grim detail. It’s as stereotypically ‘millennial’ as it gets.
I‘m an English Literature student about to go into my final year at Newcastle University (not scary at all!). Born and raised in the Isle of Man, I split my time between the island and the Toon, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I’m a self-confessed granny: I love a night in, gin and tonics, and huge cardigans. I’m also the biggest bookworm, and I don’t say that lightly. But if my nose isn’t buried in a book, I’m probably in an overpriced chain coffee shop with my notebook, or outside trying desperately to convince myself that it’s sunny and warm (it never is, I live in the UK).
And finally I’ll warn you now, my jokes are terrible and often fall into the genre of ‘dad humour’. Proceed with caution.
