My name is Siobhán and welcome to my quiet little corner of the internet. Prepare yourself for plenty of confessions and embarrassing stories as I make a piss-poor attempt at adulthood, navigating everything from university to politics to reviews. This blog is an outlet for everything I’m learning as I go along, so bear with me – I’ll most likely overshare every grim detail. It’s as stereotypically ‘millennial’ as it gets.
I‘m an English Literature student in my final year at Newcastle University (not scary at all!). Born and raised in the Isle of Man, I split my time between the island and the Toon, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I’m a self-confessed granny: I love a night in, gin and tonics, and huge cardigans. I’m also the biggest bookworm, and I don’t say that lightly. But if my nose isn’t buried in a book, I’m probably in an overpriced chain coffee shop with my notebook, or outside trying desperately to convince myself that it’s sunny and warm (it never is, I live in the UK).
And finally I’ll warn you now, my jokes are terrible and often fall into one of two genres: ‘dad humour’ or ‘disgustingly sarcastic’. Proceed with caution.
